Plus-Size Boudoir and Portrait Sessions: No Dieting, No Hiding

If you’re thinking about a photoshoot and your first thought is “I need to lose weight first”, I want to say one thing: you don’t. You don’t need to wait for a better year or a different size. I photograph every body, every size and every story, and I set the light and poses for you, not for some template.

Below I explain what a session for plus-size women looks like, how to choose a photographer and what to wear so you feel good.

Key takeaways

Why your body isn’t an obstacle

Most women who avoid photos have mostly seen themselves in random snapshots: taken from above, in flat light, mid-movement. Nobody looks good in those, whatever their size.

A session is different. I set the light to build form rather than flatten it. I show you poses where your body is relaxed and looks natural. Curves, lines and skin texture become part of the image, not something to fight.

Which kind of session?

A session can be subtle rather than sensual. You don’t have to decide now; we’ll talk it through in the consultation.

What to wear

For the journey, wear loose clothes without tight elastic so they don’t leave marks. More in What to bring to a boudoir shoot.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to pose?

No. I guide every pose and choose them for your body.

Does it have to be a boudoir session?

No. It can be a portrait or a subtle women’s session. You decide the style and how much you show.

Do you slim people in retouching?

I try not to. I retouch by hand and with restraint: light, tone, small temporary things. Now and then I’ll soften a small fold or a line if a tiny detail pulls attention away from what matters in the frame. Your body stays your body.

How much does it cost?

Packages start at 2,200 PLN (about 510 EUR). Details on the pricing page.
